We are waiting to see what the second year of an Obama presidency will bring. Will we see new and exciting advances in jobs because of the brilliant stimulus packages he has signed, or the jobs summit he put together? Will we see our taxes be cut thereby seeing a growth in our job creating ability? How about health care? Will we see a reasonable, responsible health care bill passed in congress, or will we see the monstrosity of a health care bill passed over the cbjections of the citizenry? If this next year is anything like this year, we will be the highest taxed people in the world. That would be the end of America as we know it. Socialism would reign as the principle form of government in this nation thereby dropping our stature in the world to the level of a third world country. The citizens of this country would be equal, and poor. If the legislature is not replaced by a much more conservative group of congressmen/women, we will surely become a puppet nation. If President Obama signs the treaty in Copenhagen, and the Senate votes to ratify it, our sovereignty will be lost, and the European Union will be the strong nation group in the world. The United States as we know it would cease to exist.

It is a sad thing to consider that we as a nation are on the verge of nonexistance after only 233 years. The possibility that the United States, Canada, and Mexico, could beecome one superstate has been in negotiations since 2001 is one which is, at the same time, scary, and exciting, because it would be our only hope to compete with the EU, would become a travesty for the citizens of America. Our Bill of Rights, and our constitution would become moot, and we would have no guarantee of any rights under any new one.

Therefore we must perservere, guarding our nation from any of these possibilities. 233 years is a very short lifetime for a nation. We cannot  throw our nation in the dumper now. Let us allow our nation to continue its course through the river of history by preserving it for our posterity.
